Ro Ro Facilities
The Ro Ro terminal has been purpose designed to meet the demanding needs of today's Ro Ro service operator.
Covering an area of 15 acres with 330 drive-through unaccompanied and 40 driver accompanied trailer bays the terminal is ideally suited for a 2 to 3 ship operation.
The terminal layout and unrestricted direct access to the three-lane Linkspan ensures a quick and efficient turnaround of accompanied and unaccompanied freight vessels. The 3 lane linkspan has a capacity of 225 tonnes making it also suitable for heavy and abnormal load ship-to-shore transfers.
The Ro Ro Terminal consists of the following:
- Berth to accommodate bow and stern loading vessels up to 170m LOA with a draft of up to 6m.
- 15 acre trailer park with high mast lighting.
- Unaccompanied drive-through trailer bays.
- Dedicated driver-accompanied parking bays.
- Designated parking for out of gauge, hazardous and miscellaneous Roro cargos.
- Driver's lounge, showers and wash room facilities.
- Cab height check-in with 60t weighbridge.
- Serviced two storey freight and administration office accommodation.
- Full CCTV coverage.
- Fencing to latest ISPS specification
