The Port of Mostyn is a medium-sized port which lies on the Welsh side of the Dee Estuary within 3 nautical miles from the Irish Sea.
Geographically, the Port of Mostyn in situated in Flintshire, North Wales close to the border with England. It has a direct access to the A548 coastal road connecting it to the UK motorway network and is just 15 miles from the M56 motorway.
The Port is also well served by the international airports of Manchester which is 52 miles and Liverpool 45 miles from Mostyn. Non-scheduled and charter flights are operated from Hawarden Airport near Chester which is 18 miles from the Port.
