Access
There is direct access from the Port to the national road network via the A548 and to the national rail network via the on-site railway sidings. Access to the Port from the Irish Sea is through the Mostyn navigational channel.
BUSINESS WITHIN THE PORT
The Port of Mostyn is a key construction and service base for the offshore renewable energy sector in the Irish Sea. As the construction Port of choice for 7 wind farms, and the O&M base for RWE Renewables North Hoyle, Rhyl Flats and Gwynt y Mor wind farms, we have a number of businesses operating within the Port including RWE Renewables, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and MHI Vestas Offshore Wind.
We also have a number of supporting businesses available at the Port including agency, stevedoring, steel fabrication, lifting, plant hire, offshore scaffolding, electrical and hydraulic engineering. For more information see Port Services.
