OFFSHORE WINDFARM OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE

In addition to the construction of offshore windfarms, the Port of Mostyn is now recognised as a favourable location from which to carry out O & M of windfarms located in the Irish Sea.

RWE Npower Renewables have established the O & M bases to service their Gwynt-y-Mor, North Hoyle and Rhyl Flats windfarms at Mostyn, each with thier own service teams from either Siemens or MHI Vestas.
